This policy explains how V Maheswari ("Rashivani", "we") collects and uses your personal data when you use rashivani.com. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. What we collect

• Order details: name, date, time and place of birth, report language and chart style.
• Contact details: email address, and your mobile number if you choose WhatsApp delivery.
• Payment confirmation: order and payment reference numbers from Razorpay. We do not receive or store card, UPI or bank details.
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type) and, if you accept them, advertising cookies such as the Meta Pixel to measure our ads.

2. Why we use it

• To calculate and deliver your report (the purpose you consent to by placing an order).
• To send you your report and service messages about your order.
• To send one follow-up email about related reports. You can unsubscribe with one click.
• To prevent fraud, handle refunds and meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your data and do not use your birth details for any purpose other than producing your reports.

3. Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the service, under contract: Razorpay (payments), our email provider (delivery), Meta WhatsApp Business (only if you choose WhatsApp), OpenStreetMap Nominatim (your birth place name only, to find its coordinates) and our hosting provider. We may disclose data where required by law.

4. How long we keep it

Report files and download links are kept for 30 days. Order records are kept for up to 8 years where tax law requires it. You can ask us to delete your birth details and report earlier, except where we must keep records by law.

5. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), stored on access-controlled servers, and download links are private random links that expire.

7. Children

Our service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children for marketing.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
